A foundation you can reuse
New apps share routing, accounts, databases, file storage, AI access, background jobs, and operations. Start with a small app folder and use the platform services when you need them.
| If you want to… | Start here |
|---|---|
| Ship a new application | Build a new app |
| Understand the service APIs | AppKit reference |
| Store documents or large media | Databases & files |
| Give people or agents access | Accounts & agent keys |
| Run slow or expensive work | AI & background jobs |
| Deploy, monitor, or recover an app | Deploy & operate |
| Find a project's implementation notes | App directory |
What is running today
PostgreSQL on RDS is the default database. S3 holds large files and a separate recovery copy. Cognito supplies human sign-in. SQS carries background work. DynamoDB is available as an explicit, per-app key-value option. SSM supplies configuration and secrets, and CloudWatch collects operational signals.
The shared apps run on one VM. Arena is a separate application with its own service, database, agent API, and game runners. It shares AWS resources, but does not depend on AppKit.
Guides, apps, and notes
The public guides describe reusable interfaces and the current infrastructure. Each app has an overview and links to its own notes. Existing repository notes and operational runbooks are available after administrator sign-in, so internal research and deployment details stay within their existing access boundary.
This catalog reflects the deployment reviewed on 14 October 2026. Optional services and current limits are called out explicitly in the architecture guide.
